DSG Update 10/24 Gold, Platinum, Diamond

Hello DSG Team Families, 

I have a brief update with some important items so please read thoroughly:

• Trick or Treat Street is tomorrow! If your athlete is assigned to help run a booth, please have them there by 2:00pm.  We should be all done putting everything away by 4:30.

• The meet fees for the 2026 season for Golds through Diamonds have been calculated. The fees this year will be $655. This will be billed November 12th. Please let us know if you need your payment split into two installments. A breakdown of fees and a reminder of the schedule can be found here: 2026 Meet Fees

• Testing is almost complete and results will be sent out the first week of November. The vast majority of athletes are on track to compete the level they are currently testing for, and I have spoken with parents of athletes who may be unexpectedly moving up. These conversations are mostly so parents can plan on the appropriate season, especially considering Golds compete so much sooner than Silver. That being said, some athletes are still struggling on just one or two skills or events. If your athlete will benefit from some extra event focused practices or private lessons, we will suggest that in your testing results and we plan to schedule a few of those in November and December. 

• There is no Christmas Show this year, but we do plan to have the Snowball GymFest recreational meet Sunday, December 14th. We want some of the upper level athletes to demo and the Platinums and Diamonds will do the glow show. Upper level teams please take note of this date so your gymnasts can help out.
