DSG Update 2/18

Hello DSG Team Families,

This is your update for February 18th:

• Thank you to everyone who attended Winterfest this past weekend! Our teams did well with one of our Gold squads placing first, our Platinums placing second, and our Diamonds placing first. We had 4 all-around champions, and had many athletes place on both events and the all-around. We also qualified more to the state meet! • Golds, Platinums, Diamonds: We have three and a half weeks before our next meet at CSI-Bear Creek High School. The session times are up on the calendar at dsgbounders.com . This short gap between meets is a great time for the kids to regroup and make some goals for the second half of the season.

• Bronze and Silvers: We received the meet times for Hippity Hoppity, which will be Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4. The roster splits and session times are posted below. Some of the Friday Silver meets are during the day, and while DPS and other districts are on break, Jeffco is not so some kids may have to miss school. This occasionally happens with meets that fall during the Spring Break and Easter as the meet directors are trying to fit everyone in without utilizing Sunday. I do understand this is not ideal, but it is out of our hands.

• Team Camp: Everyone should have received an email with their camp week for the summer. I will be confirming attendance and putting rosters and itinerary together in the coming weeks.
