Team Update 8/28

Hello DSG Team Families, 

We are officially back to school, and we have a few items to cover:

-Open Gym Schedule and Fee: The open gym schedule for September is up on the calendar at dsgbounders.com The cost for open gym will be $15 going forward. We have not adjusted the open gym fee in almost ten years, so thank you for your understanding as we bring the fee up to date.

-Labor Day weekend schedule: all Saturday classes will be held, but we have no classes on Monday.

-Leotards and Sweats: All teams will be ordering new sweats, sizers will be in the office mid-September. If your child competed last season, they will keep their competition leotards for one more season. f your child is new to the Bronze or Silver team, we will have sizers in the office mid-September and will be ordering prior to Oct 1st.If your child is new to the upper level team, we will looking for someone who left after last season with your child's size to purchase an a reduced cost for this season as we had some manufacturing problems working with GK. We will be ordering new leotards from a new company next fall. We should receive all uniforms by Thanksgiving

Lower Level Annual Team Fee: All afternoon Bronze and Silver teams will have their annual team fee run on Sept 1st. Team fees are billed annually and help to cover team related administrative and insurance costs, along with equipment maintenance. One fee per family, if you have an upper level sibling and paid in June, you will not be billed.

-Floor Routines: We are working our way through new floor routine choreography. All High School and Platinum athletes should be completed or scheduled at this time. Gold choreography is next and will continue through September. Routine clean up will follow all new choreography.

-Private lessons: Private lessons are limited with choreographers (Adrie, Jess H, and Karla) while choreography is underway, but feel free to reach out to our other coaches to see if they have availability during this time. -Save the Date: Trick or Treat Street will be Saturday, October 25th from 2:30-4pm
