Team Update March 22

Hello DSG Gold, Platinum, and Diamond Families,

This is your update for March 19th. I have a lot of important information to relay, so maybe save this email.

• This upcoming week will be our Bounder Spirit Week: Show your True Blues. We will be wearing our blues all week and having the kids come up with team cheers.  It is also the Bronze and Silver first meet of the season meaning the upper level kids need to get their Bounder Buddy a good luck card and candy. I also have the DSG temporary tattoos for them to wear at their meet. 

• Banquet Save the Date: Friday, May 15th 5-8 pm, more info and sign up to come.  We are looking forward to another great banquet celebrating our season and our Seniors!

• State Meets are rapidly approaching! The coaching fees have been calculated and will run with your entry fee next Wednesday, March 25th. You are automatically enrolled in State if you qualify. Gold State is at Xtreme April 17th-19th, the cost is $140, Platinum and Diamond State is at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds April 10th-12th and the cost $150.

• Regional Meet Reminders and Preliminary Info:Platinum and Diamond Regionals will be April 24th-26th in Loveland, CO. The qualifying score is 34.0 at the state meet, the cost is $175 due the day of the state meet if qualified. We will also need your athlete's leotard size for the regional leotard. When Regionals are in state, you will be automatically enrolled upon qualification unless you specify otherwise. Gold Regionals will be hosted in Galveston, TX this year May 1st-3rd. The qualification score is 35.0 at the state meet, we will also need your athlete's leotard size for the regional leotard. When regionals is out of state, a separate club travel fee is calculated depending on the number of athletes participating and billed between state and regionals. I have heard from almost everyone on the Gold Regional Survey, but will reach out if I do not have your response. Some responses did not have a name so I will be trying to figure that out as well. Also please keep in mind that Regionals takes precedence over the travel meet. I am trying to implement this as much as possible because the regional qualifications are much more stringent and opting out makes the cost higher for those attending.
