All Team Update 7/7

Hello DSG Team Families, 

I hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July. Please refer to dsgbounders.com for an archive if this information and an up to date calendar, and download the spaces app to get push notifications for all updates such as meet times, open gym reminders, etc.  There are a few items to address as we head into July: 

• The 2026 USAG Membership is now open for renewal. Please log in to your USAG account and renew as soon as possible so that we can reserve our meet spots as soon as they open. 

• The 2026 meet schedule is below and has been uploaded to the calendar at dsgbounders.com *Exact session times will not be available until about 4-6 weeks prior to each competition. The meet fees will come out in October and will be posted in November. Meet fees will include all four in state meets and the coaching fee. 2026. State and Regioanls are charged separately. • Travel Meet: You will be automatically enrolled in every meet except the travel meet, which is optional. The travel meet this season will be in San Diego at the Town and Country Hotel and Resort from Jan 30-Feb 1st. This is also the only meet that the entry fee is paid many months prior.  You have until July 31st to sign up for this meet and we will run the entry fee payment of 165 on August 11th. This year the meet is available to Silvers, Golds, Platinums and Diamonds. In addition to the entry fee, you are responsible for your own travel costs and  a club travel fee is due a few weeks prior to the meet, which usually comes to anywhere from 175-250. This fee is calculated and divided by the number of athletes participating. The sign up is here: 2026 Travel Meet Sign Up. 

• Gold Regionals is also out of state this year, in Galveston, TX. Please take this into consideration as you decide if you will attend the travel meet.  The Regional Meet is a qualifying competition and we want all athletes who qualify to compete, if possible. We understand some families may have difficulties in traveling twice, so if your family must choose between the two meets, please choose the Regional meet. Platinum and Diamond is in state this year and your athlete will be enrolled if they qualify. 

• Open Gyms start this Sunday and will run 3 Sundays per month July through February.The calendar is posted on the calendar at dsgbounders.com

• Floor Routine Choreography: All gymnasts who need a new floor routine need to select music before the break so we can begin to schedule choreography sessions. Routines are billed at the private lesson rate of $70/hour and usually take 1 to 2 sessions to complete.
